Coffee, check. Chocolate, check. A social hub/coffee shop/bar mash-up? A century-old cafe? A gothic church reincarnated as a stylish restaurant serving up divine food? Check, please!

Not one, but two Good Food Award winners!

With over 2,000 entries each year, the competition for a Good Food Award is fierce.  That said, two Northwest Arkansas taste warriors emerged victorious—one in the category of coffee and the other in the category of chocolate.  Congratulations to Onyx Coffee Lab and Markham & Fitz!

The Good Food Awards is a national food competition that highlights not only the “taste-making crafters at the vanguard of deliciousness” but also makers with an eye towards “social and environmental excellence”.

This award was the third time Onyx Coffee Labs received the distinction and was a first for Markham and Fitz.  Onyx was awarded for their limited Colombia Granja la Esperanza.  Markham & Fitz’s was awarded for their Ooh La Lavender bar.

Not just the best, but the best of the best.

With a combined audience well into the millions, Architectural Digest, Garden & Gun, and Travel + Leisure each published features on Northwest Arkansas restaurants in recent weeks. Congratulations to The Preacher's Son, The Holler, and Ozark Cafe for catching the attention of these highly-respected publications.
