Hobbs State Park is Arkansas’ largest state park, spanning 12.054 acres of Ozark Mountain landscape located on the southern shore of Beaver Lake. Highlights include a 52 mile trail system, mountain biking, horseback riding and five primitive campsites.
Beaver Lake is a man-made reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas and is formed by a dam across the White River. Over 28,000 acres of clear water attracts thousands of water sports lovers, fishermen, hikers and birdwatchers from all over the region. Beaver Lake is also the drinking water source for Northwest Arkansas.
In addition to Butterfield Stage which hosts Railyard Live outdoor performances, key features of the park include a stretch of green space and trees called Frisco Plaza, home to the Rogers Farmers Market, the Water Stop splash pad, and the Playard with an authentic retired Mi-Jack crane that ties in the history of the railroad that runs through the park.
