Impact NWANWA Gives

Lake Atalanta in Rogers reopened to the public in November 2016. Visitors can now stroll a new paved trail that circles the lake. A boardwalk stretches out over the water with designated areas for fishing. New playground structures offer plenty of adventure while a serene garden offers a more reflective peaceful location. There are 10 miles of hiking trails and off-road mountain biking trails for all skill levels.

The Railyard Bike Park is a natural surface bike park featuring various elements allowing riders of any skill level to enjoy the park. It is one of the few parks in the country that incorporates street lights— making the park safer and expanding the hours of operation.

The Rogers Aquatics Center is a must visit destination in Rogers. The park includes five different water slides, a lazy river, diving boards, basketball goals, a splash pad and 30+ lifeguards on duty

The Rogers skatepark is an all metal park. The park includes a moon flat bar, a tree covered in old skate shoes, a unique vert wall, ledges and a pyramid. The park is a must stop for skaters in NWA.

Hobbs State Park is Arkansas’ largest state park, spanning 12.054 acres of Ozark Mountain landscape located on the southern shore of Beaver Lake. Highlights include a 52 mile trail system, mountain biking, horseback riding and five primitive campsites.

Beaver Lake is a man-made reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas and is formed by a dam across the White River. Over 28,000 acres of clear water attracts thousands of water sports lovers, fishermen, hikers and birdwatchers from all over the region. Beaver Lake is also the drinking water source for Northwest Arkansas.

In 2015, the City of Rogers purchased an auto repair shop on Cherry Street, and has renovated the space to be home to the new Downtown Rogers Farmers Market. The market opened in 2016 with over 40 vendors in drive-up bays. The indoor-outdoor facility is unique and vendor friendly, attracting some of the best home-grown and handmade goods from Northwest Arkansas.
