Heartland Forward is a nonpartisan, nonprofit “think and do tank based in Bentonville, AR whose mission is to improve economic performance in the center of the United States by advocating for fact-based solutions to foster job creation, knowledge-based and inclusive growth, and improved health outcomes. The organization achieves this mission through through independent, data-driven research; action-oriented discussion; and impactful policy recommendations.

Heartland Forward is currently looking for a dynamic professional to join their team as a Program Manager, focusing on entrepreneurship, human capital, and workforce development. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to advance programs, advocacy, and public policy initiatives. The Program Manager will support two key areas: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Human Capital and Workforce Development. Reporting to the Program Director, this position will help turn research into action, increase brand awareness, and support partnerships. The work will primarily focus on state-level initiatives but also include broader efforts at federal, regional, and local levels. The ideal candidate will effectively engage with leaders, philanthropists, policymakers, investors, educational institutions, and Heartland Forward’s network to promote effective programs and policies.

Founded in 2021, the Alice Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) will offer a medical degree-granting program that builds on conventional medicine with an inclusive, compassionate, and whole health approach.
