Tree House by Black Apple

Arkansas’ first cidery recently expanded operations and will distribute its award-winning ciders at the newly opened Tree House in downtown Bentonville.

In addition to those delicious ciders and slushes, the eccletic, family and pet-friendly venue comes complete with non-alcoholic beverages and yard games. The Tree House also regularly hosts live music and unique, pop-up events.

We think the tagline says it all, “Expect Nothing. Experience Everything.”

Mangos Gourmet Taco Shop

While we are on the topic of tacos, one of Fayetteville’s most popular taco shops recently expanded to the east side of town. The new location is at the corner of Mission and Crossover and, like its west side counterpart, has a drive-through.

If you haven’t tried Mangos, you might secure some motivation by reading this Facebook description and visiting their Instagram page, “You are about to embark on an amazing culinary journey that will delight your taste buds, and satisfy your deepest craving for amazing Mexican food. There is a revolutionary movement that redefines the stereotypical ways of enjoying true Mexican food and Mangos is at the forefront of this movement.”

Doomsday Coffee & Roasterie

Early this year, Doomsday expanded from Fayetteville to Siloam Springs. We recognize this isn’t the most recent news, but given the underlying theme of this post (ICYMI: local beverages and tacos) we had to give them a mention. When it comes to breakfast tacos in Northwest Arkansas, Doomsday has the game on lock.

Ah, but there was something else we wanted to share! Three words: “Guatemala Espresso Martini.” Doomsday recently posted this update to their Facebook page, “Doomsday Siloam Update: We have some great stuff happening in Siloam!!! Doomsday will be applying for a Mixed Drink Restaurant Permit this month, so a delicious, Guatemala Espresso Martini is just a few months away!!!”

They’ve also added an outdoor patio space, so be sure to get over there while the weather is still nice.
