The Hive Recognized as Smart Catch Leader

With more than 90 percent of the world’s fisheries either fully fished or overfished, preserving marine life to assure stable fishing stocks and promoting sustainably farmed options is more important than ever. The idea for Smart Catch is simple and powerful: the James Beard Foundation program provides training and support to chefs so they can serve seafood fished or farmed in environmentally-responsible ways. By becoming a Smart Catch Leader and earning the Smart Catch seal, the Hive has given its patrons a simple, straightforward way to order sustainably-sourced food.

“When you eat at the Hive, the experience is not only delicious food, great service and incredible cocktails. You are supporting people that believe in feeding hungry children, supporting local farms and serving sustainability caught fish. Our values and morals guide our menu and experience.
