Haas Hall Academy’s Fayetteville campus is the nation’s No. 7 high school, according to a new ranking published this week by U.S. News & World Report.
The publication’s annual list of the nation’s Best High Schools was made public Tuesday. Haas Hall moved up 43 spots from 2018.
Haas Hall was ranked No. 2 among the nation’s charter schools and No. 1 among all Arkansas high schools. It’s held the state’s highest ranking for eight years in a row.
“It has been and continues to be our collective goal to be the premier high school in this great nation,” said Martin Schoppmeyer, the school’s superintendent and founder. “Our focus is always to get better.”
Northwest Arkansas schools always fare well in the U.S. News & World Report ranking. The state’s top 20 schools included Fayetteville’s Haas Hall and eight other Northwest Arkansas schools. They were Haas Hall’s Bentonville campus (No. 2), Arkansas Arts Academy in Rogers (No. 5), Bentonville High School (No. 7), Rogers New Technology High School (No. 9), Eureka Springs High School (No. 11), Fayetteville High School (No. 13), Rogers High School (No. 15) and Prairie Grove High School (No. 20).
