The Runway Group’s focus on the outdoors includes developing vast trail systems, preserving green space through parks, and connecting our communities through nature. They have invested in projects (both individually and in partnerships) like Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, Monument Trails, Kessler Mountain, OZ Trails, Osage Park, and much more.
They are currently seeking a qualified Director of Outdoor Recreation Projects to work as their owner’s representative on commercial and recreational projects in Northwest Arkansas. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years of documented experience as an owner’s representative, civil engineer, landscape architect, or architectural designer.

Coler Campground Manager
The Peel Compton Foundation connects the community through nature, education, recreation, and preservation. One of the spaces where they facilitate this mission is at the Coler Mountain Bike Preserve. Just a short bike ride from downtown Bentonville, the preserve boasts over 17 miles of beautiful mountain biking trails and 22 campsites – eight small tent platforms, eight large tent platforms, five Class B Camper van parking pads, and one ADA accessible site with adjacent parking.
The foundation is currently seeking a Campground Manager to live onsite in a studio apartment (rent and utilities are covered). The manager is responsible for executing the day-to-day operational duties for the campground and ensuring a positive experience for campground guests and daily visitors.

Community Engagement Coordinator
The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust (NWALT) is a regional non-profit, 501c3 conservation organization based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The mission of the organization is to preserve quality of life in Northwest Arkansas through the permanent protection of land. The organization works to save important natural areas that support clean water, wildlife habitat, outdoor access, local farms, and cultural heritage.
NWALT is seeking an energetic and outgoing person with experience coordinating and leading community programs and events to join their team as the Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC). The CEC will coordinate NWALT-led events that educate and engage our community, including representing NWALT at various community and partner events throughout the region, and overseeing the ongoing development and coordination of the Kessler Mountain Outdoor Classroom.

The Department of University Recreation (UREC) is a major campus-wide service unit in the Division of Student Affairs. UREC serves the university community by providing a diverse selection of recreational opportunities and facilities, which are designed to enhance the quality of life for each participant.
UREC Outdoors is currently seeking to hire a Senior Coordinator to oversee the operations of the bike shop, bike rental fleet, cycling-related programs and events, instructional programs, and adventure programs. This is a three-year provisional position with the University of Arkansas and is renewable annually based on the need for the position, availability of funding, and continued satisfactory level of performance in the role.
