“Opening later this year, The Jones Center Runway Bike Park in Springdale, Arkansas will soon be home to the largest pump track of its kind in America.
In a partnership with Progressive Bike Ramps, Velosolutions will break ground this week on the construction of a world-class pump track that will span close to 25,000 square feet of rideable surface once complete.
In addition to the pump track, The Runway Bike Park will include 3 feature packed skills lines for rider progression and a Bicycle Playground for the youngest shredders on balance bikes.
The Runway Bike Park will debut worldwide when it hosts the finals for the Red Bull Pump Track World Championship this October.
The Runway Bike Park is being developed with the generous support of the Walton Family Foundation.”
Red Bull Pump Track World Championship
The 2018 Red Bull Pump Track World Championship Final will take place on October 13th.
According to the Red Bull website, qualifying events have been taking place around the world ahead of the grand final which will take place on the Pump Track being built at the Runway Bike Park.
In total, 21 qualifier events around the globe (in over 20 countries) will have taken place before riders arrive at the Red Bull Pump Track World Championship.
Pump tracks are a worldwide success, combining rolling jumps with banked turns, they are accessible for all. Riders use the track features to gain momentum and attack the track as fast as possible. The Red Bull Pump Track World Championship is open to anyone to compete for the World Championship title.
