This position is for someone with expertise in bicycle design and mechanics, cycling and a passion for youth in grades 6-12. Bonus points are earned by candidates with experience in trail building or coaching mountain biking or gravel riding.
Among other responsibilities, this position will work closely with Thaden’s leadership and faculty members in continuing to develop the infrastructure, community partnerships, and resources needed to bring the Wheels program to life as a vital part of a Thaden education. Leveraging the region’s extensive network of bike paths and trails as well as the campus pump track and skills course, the Wheels program provides students with hands-on opportunities to explore the design and mechanics of the bicycle and their connections to math, physics, history, urban planning, and other fields.
