Marketing & Communications Specialist
The Jones Center, a vibrant community, recreation and event center located in downtown Springdale, is looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist (MCS) to assist with the development and management of various marketing and communications initiatives, including social media, public and media relations outreach, digital and writing content creation, web content management, and representing the organization at community events and expos in Northwest Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have documented experience crafting compelling content and campaigns for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and will work in partnership with the Marketing & Communications Manager to generate interest and raise the visibility of The Jones Center and its programs year-round.

Trailblazers
Director of Communications and Marketing
Trailblazers is a nonprofit formed in 2021 through the merger of NWA Trailblazers, an organization that has developed 300+ miles of multi-use trails, including the OZ Trails network, and BikeNWA, a bicycle advocacy and education-focused organization that has led the region in advocating for active transportation.
The organization is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications to create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program that will help to achieve Trailblazers’ mission and vision. This includes all of the organization’s marketing, communications, and public relations activities, including, but not limited to, email communications, digital marketing, event marketing, fundraising marketing, content marketing, copywriting, brand management, and campaign execution.
Salary range: $63,000 – $73,500/year
Art Bridges Foundation
Director of Marketing and Communications
Part of the vision of arts patron Alice Walton, Art Bridges has been creating and supporting programs that expand access to American art in all regions across the nation since 2017. The foundation is currently seeking a seasoned marketing and communications professional to direct the planning, development, and implementation of Art Bridges’ marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. The ideal candidate will have at least five to eight years of professional experience, including leading the communications, marketing, social media, and public relations activities of a high-growth organization.
Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research (I³R)
Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement
The Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research (I³R) at the University of Arkansas is the new model of public research and economic development, working with commercial, philanthropic, non-profit, and governmental organizations to deliver positive societal impact. It is about bringing the discoveries of the future to the world in real-time. I³R is seeking a Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement to help envision and implement the strategic communications plan for the institute.
A few of the primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Executive Director of the Institute through executive communications including speechwriting, creating presentations, and crafting opinion pieces
- Overseeing the messaging and presentation of the Institute’s website
- Engaging marketing firms to support the Institute’s communications efforts
- Acting as a spokesperson and first point-of-contact with media and building positive relationships with media to deliver placement of news and opinion pieces
I³R is looking for candidates with at least seven years of experience in a marketing, communications, or public relations role.
