A significant challenge facing companies of all sizes is knowing how to connect with the University of Arkansas – and particularly with the students. These two individuals will work directly with companies to understand their needs and educate them about the myriad of ways to connect with the University.


The University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) is looking to hire two dynamic, proactive self-starters to increase industry and community engagement on campus. One will be focused on Northwest Arkansas and the other on Central Arkansas/Little Rock. These new positions are being funded by the recent $194.7M gift from the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation.

The chosen applicants will play a key role in facilitating two-way conversations between industry partners and the campus to:

  • Assist businesses and industries find the talent they need
  • Provide information on services and opportunities at the university
  • Communicate private sector wants and needs to relevant parties inside the university
  • Help the private sector connect with faculty and staff expertise within the university
