The overall mission of the newly launched Music Education Initiative is to engage, educate, and elevate the next generation of professionals in the business of music and entertainment in Northwest Arkansas. One way they accomplish this mission is through their workforce development program.

The Production Education and Technical Training Program is a first-class workshop that will be held at established locations in Northwest Arkansas. It’s an immersive experience that exposes, educates, and trains participants on production and technical fundamentals and offers the opportunity to work with companies that are in need of trained talent.

After training, participants may be eligible for upcoming jobs and potential careers as live performance technicians. This workforce development program gives you the hands-on experience you need while developing relationships with key people in the industry. Ultimately, participants gain the ability to be hired for entry-level employment at an hourly rate much higher than the current minimum wage.

Upcoming workshops will take place on March 10 in Lowell and March 17 in Fayetteville.
