Attracting more than 70,000 visitors annually, The Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks has twelve themed gardens and the region’s only native butterfly house. WILSON PARK
Located in the heart of Fayetteville, Wilson Park spans across 22.7 acres and is the city’s oldest and most popular park. Featuring the Wilson Park Pool, beautiful pocket gardens, a serene spring-fed creek, a whimsical castle, and a 100 year old Osage Orange tree, Wilson Park is a peaceful place to play and recharge.
Gulley Park
This popular 27-acre park includes Niokaska Creek, wide open fields, a pond, and a 1.5 mile paved trail surrounding the park. Everry Summer, the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department offers a series of free outdoor concerts featuring family-friendly local and regional talent.
LAKE FAYETTEVILLE
With 458 acres of land and 194 acres of water, Lake Fayetteville offers a plethora of recreational activities for outdoor enthusiasts, including disc golf at North Shore Park, a boat dock and marina, multiple softball fields, and boat and bike rental services. Visitors can also explore the stunning Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks. The park features 5.5 miles of nature trails and 4.3 miles of hard-surfaced multi-use trails that encircle the lake.
